Practical O&M training for solar and BESS plants

Practical, plant-operation-based sessions built around the way plants actually fail — soiling, string faults, inverter trips, tracker and grid issues — and around the KPIs that contracts measure: performance ratio, CUF, availability and excusable events.

Delivered at the customer's site or at a partner plant, for O&M technicians, site engineers, EPC handover teams, C&I energy managers and lenders' monitoring staff. Every participant leaves with checklists, procedures and a record of the tests they performed.

What the programme covers

Solar PV — detailed training module for solar rooftop and ground-mount plants:

PV fundamentals: how the plant works, components and their failure modes
Safety: PPE, permit-to-work, lock-out/tag-out, working at height
Preventive maintenance: module cleaning, structure and roof, DC cabling, DCDB, inverter, ACDB, earthing, monitoring system
Testing and diagnostics: Voc / Isc, insulation and earth resistance, thermography, I–V curve tracing
Performance analysis: PR, specific yield, CUF, generation curves and loss categories
Troubleshooting: inverter alarms, common field faults, module replacement
Records, spares, emergency response and seasonal care
Written and practical assessment with checklists and log templates

Battery energy storage (BESS):

Battery operation: state of charge, cell balancing, thermal management, fire safety
Battery maintenance and state-of-health tracking
